2ème, 3ème et 4ème visite du groupe II par les familles de Vohitrarivo (voir les photos ci-dessous).

Familles, forêts et grands hapalémurs : tous unis !

Les 19 familles de Vohitrarivo, qui se sont déjà rendues en forêt, se sont ensuite réunies le temps d’une après-midi pour partager leur expérience avec les grands hapalémurs. Une cinquantaine de personnes ont ainsi assisté à la présentation des posters qui ont été réalisés après les visites du groupe II. L’occasion notamment pour les participants d’échanger leurs impressions sur les lémuriens.

Prochaine étape très attendue par tous les participants de Vohitrarivo : aller à la rencontre des hapalémurs de Ranomafana (le groupe habitué) et des grands hapalémurs des autres villages.  Ces visites seront organisées en avril après la saison des pluies.

En Mars (dès que le temps le permettra), ce sont les familles de Sahofika qui partiront en forêt à la rencontre du groupe V et à la découverte du travail des guides qui les suivent quotidiennement.

The 19 families of Vohitrarivo, who have already gone into the forest, then gathered for an afternoon to share their experience with the greater bamboo lemurs. About fifty people attended the presentation of the posters that were made after the visits of the group II. It was the opportunity for the participants to exchange their views about the lemurs.

The next big step for the participants of Vohitrarivo is to meet the Ranomafana bamboo lemurs (the habituated group) and the greater bamboo lemurs from the other villages. These visits will be organized in April after the rainy season.

In March (as soon as the weather will permit), the families of Sahofika will also go into the forest to meet the group V and and to learn more about the work of the guides who monitor them daily.
